What do the deal verdict, score and risk flags mean?
Every BuyBox analysis ends with a Deal Score from 0 to 100, a verdict of Strong Deal, Solid Deal, Needs Work or High Risk, and named risk flags. Each metric is graded against your own buy box thresholds, and hovering any number shows its definition, formula and inputs, so the verdict is never a black box.
Every analysis ends with a verdict. Here's how to read it, and why it's never a black box. Hover the ⓘ on any metric below to see its definition, and use the toggle to compare a strong deal with a weak one.
The three parts
The Deal Verdict
A 0 to 100 Deal Score and a verdict label: STRONG DEAL, SOLID DEAL, NEEDS WORK, or HIGH RISK. Every metric that can be graded earns 10, 5 or 0 points against your own threshold bands, the total is normalized to 100, then bonuses for strong cash flow and strong DSCR are added and a critical metric below your band costs 10. It measures the deal against your buy box, not a generic rating. Change your criteria and the verdict moves with it, see Set your buy box.
Risk Flags
Below the verdict, Risk Flags name exactly which metrics fell short: the difference between "this is high risk" and "this is high risk because the DSCR is 0.98." The flags tell you what to fix or negotiate.
The metrics
Grouped the way an investor thinks, Survival (will it cover itself?), Equity (are you buying it right?), Returns (does it make money?), and Cash required. Each is colored green / yellow / red against your buy box.
Hover a metric's ⓘ for its definition and formula; in the app, hovering a value shows the exact math with your numbers plugged in.
